Już po raz 45. odbędzie się Międzynarodowy Festiwal Wratislavia Cantans, podczas którego, zgodnie z jego tradycją, w najznamienitszych zabytkach Dolnego Śląska zabrzmią dzieła oratoryjne, symfoniczne, wokalne i wokalno-instrumentalne. Tegoroczny, jubileuszowy Festiwal będzie gościł światowej sławy artystów muzyków, których kunszt spełni oczekiwania zarówno szerokiej publiczności Wrocławia, Dolnego Śląska i licznych gości, jak i najbardziej wysublimowanych znawców, a więc wszystkich, którzy prawdziwie umiłowali muzykę. W tym roku festiwal powraca do formuły skupiającej się na dwóch weekendach. Pierwszy poświęcony będzie muzyce J.S. Bacha. Usłyszymy m.in. Mszę h-moll poprowadzoną przez wybitnego Philippe’a Herreweghe. Dzień później – Kunst der Fuge w wykonaniu Akademie für Alte Musik. Koncert finałowy zgromadzi na scenie ponad 450 wykonawców. Podczas tego wieczoru Paul McCreesh zadyryguje monumentalnym dziełem H. Berlioza – Grande Messe des Morts.
